Battle Of Gettysburg
Georg Benjamin "mike" Hughes was captured at the Battle of Gettysburg by Union 
troops. He was taken to Ft. Delaware, Del where he was held as POW until his 
death.  He died December 25th 1863 .. succumbed to Smallpox.
George Benjamin "Mike" Hughes is buried a Finn's Point Cemetery N.J.
His name is on the Confederat Troops monument /

George B. Hughes  was born ca. 1840 he died Dec. 26th 1863
His wife, Clara G.M.Baggett M. Tallapoosa Co. AL
one known child Lucind C. Hughes b. AL d. Roff, OK m. George Washington "Bud" 
Moran.
