J. Simmons petitioned for her name to be added to the pension roll as a member of the 4th class for relief of needy Confederate soldiers and sailors and their widows. She states that she is a citizen of Lee County, Alabama. She also submits that her husband, T. S. Simmons, died on 7 Dec. 1904. Mr. Ashby Floyd signed an affidavit for witness to her application stating that he knew T.S. Simmons and that he died on the date mentioned. The affidavit was sworn before J.B.
