Death Notices From THE SIFTINGS (Alexander City)

April 22, 1910:

Joe BUNTIN, a nephew of Mayor Joe BAKER, died yesterday afternoon about five o
’clock in Birmingham. He had been sick for the past several weeks. Some 
time ago he had an operation for appendicitis and a cancer formed in the place 
where the operation was made. –Dothan Journal, 12th

Mr. BUNTIN was well known in Alexander City, having held a position here with 
the Southern Cotton Oil Company for several months…
