Alexander City Outlook
Funeral services for Lonnie Thomas Daughtery, 80, of 616 Franklin Street were to 
be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Valley Grove Primitive Baptist Church with 
the Elder W. B. Denny, Jr. officiating. Burial was to be in the adjoining 
cemetery with Radney's Brown-Service directing. Mr. Daughtery died at his home 
Tuesday. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lonnie T. Daughtery of Alexander City, 
seven sons, E. S. Daughtery, Hugh Daughtery, Tommie Daughtery, Dan Daughtery, 
Gwyndle Daughtery, all of Alexander City, Buron Daughtery of Fairfax, and 
Raymond Daughtery of Minot, N.D., six daughters, Mrs. A. J. Colley, Mrs. Roland 
Brown, and Mrs. Ellis Flournoy, all of Alexander City, Mrs. Walter Thompson, of 
Indianapolis, Ind., and Mrs. Foy Jordon of Cragford, two brothers, J. O. 
Daughtery of Alexander City and J. D. Daughtery of Cragford, three sisters, Mrs. 
Caldonis Wallace of Alexander City, Mrs. Betty Summerlin of Cragford, and Mrs. 
John Cheaney of Cragford, 16 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
