Death Notices From THE TALLAPOOSA COURIER

March 31, 1910:

(Reeltown) On last Saturday morning Mrs. Martha HAMONS died at the home of 
her daughter, Mrs. Jake SEGREST, of this place. She was in her 85th year at 
the time of her death and was a true member of the Missionary Baptist Church of 
this place... Her remains were laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Sunday at 
11 o’clock.
