Alexander City Outlook
Mrs. Harriet Jones, the wife of old Uncle Irvin Jones, one of the pioneer 
settlers of this country, died at her home Tuesday at 11 a. m., after suffering 
about ten days from a stroke of paralysis. Her husband preceded her to the grave 
about two years ago. She leaves ten children, forty-eight grandchildren and 
eighty-six great grandchildren, mating a total of 145. Her remains were laid to 
rest in the Valley Grove cemetery, and the funeral services were conducted by 
Elder H. G. Harris. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved relatives 
and friends.
