The Jasper News-Boy

Mr. J. W. Wilson died yesterday at the residence of his son-in-law, Mr. F. M. 
Stewart, after a protracted illness, and was buried today in the cemetery at 
Jasper. His wife preceded him only a few days. Mr. Wilson had been a citizen of 
Jasper a long time, and his death will be mourned by a large circle of friends. 
He has been living at Brookeland for a few years and was on a visit here when 
he was attacked by the fatal illness.

Additional Comments:
John Wesley Wilson was the husband of Mariah L. Bross. They had moved from 
Tallapoosa Co., AL to Jasper, Texas in 1876.
