Alexander City Outlook
Friends of Mr. J. M. Rosser will regret to learn of his death Saturday, February 
20, at his home on Route 1, Goodwater. Burial took place Sunday at Liberty 
cemetery, this county. Rev. Hall, Methodist minister, of Millerville, conducting 
the services. Mr. Rosser had been a member of the Methodist church since boyhood 
and had lived at the present homestead for 45 years. Mr. Rosser is survived by 
his widow and seven children: Dr. W. J. Rosser, Birmingham; Mrs. Esther Hayes, 
Miss Rebecca Rosser, Miss Lavin Rosser, Warren and Woodson Rosser, all of Route 
1, Goodwater; and Dane Rosser, who teaches in Calhoun County.
