In memory of our little schoolmate, Annie Sue Thompson, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Thompson, who died at her home at Daviston Nov 23, 1910. Annie Sue was sick only 13 days. At the time of her death, she was 9 years, 1 month and 14 days old. And as we bow in humble submission to the will of God who has seen fit to carry away on the broad wings of death our loving little companion to her eternal home where there will be no more sad partings and where no sorrows ever come. We mourn for our loss, yet we know that it is her eternal gain. Beautiful and lovely she was yet she was given but a bud on earth to blossom in heaven. Annie Sue was laid to rest on the day following her death. A large number of her friends and relatives were present. Her schoolmates and associates sang, "In the Sweet By and By", "Shall I Meet You Up There", and ' "Thou Art Gone". The services were conducted by Rev J A Dunn. She leaves a loving father and mother, four sisters and one brother, grandparents and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her death. Annie indeed...
