Alexander City Outlook
Friends and acquaintances regret to learn the death of Lennard Nelson of Yates, 
which occurred Saturday at 10:30 A. M. Lennard was 24 years old and a prosperous 
merchant and postmaster at Yates. He leaves a wife and two little babes, a 
father, mother, brothers and sisters, innumerable friends to mourn his death. The 
funeral services were conducted by Elder N. M. Cook of Elias from Valley Grove 
church with interment in Valley Grove cemetery 11:30 AM Sunday.
