These are the actual birth records shown in the courthouse book for the 
children of David B. and Emma Rebecca Sargent.  Most of the early birth records 
do not give names for the children, only date of birth and gender are given, 
along with information on the parents.  

date of birth (gender):  Oct 21, 1884 (f); July 21, 1886 (m); Feb 1, 1888 (f); 
Marc 22, 1890 (m); Dec 5, 1891 (m); Sept 28, 1893 (m); Dec 13, 1894 (f); Mar 
25, 1896 (f); July 27, 1897 (f); June 9, 1899 (f)




Additional Comments:
These are the actual identities of these children in birth order:  Thomas 
Oscar; infant son (stillborn); William Andrew; Willis David; Lomis; Clifford 
Watkins; Bessie Floy; Mary, two stillborn infants
Two of the older boys were misidentified at females and the two stillborn 
children are believed to have been boys also.  In addition 5 of the given 
birthdates don't agree with dates from a family Bible.
Moral of the story:  Be careful with these birth records.
