PICKARD and Ellen GOODWIN The State of Alabama Tallapoosa County Know all men by these present that we Henry J PICKARD and Charles STONE are held and firmly bound unto his excellency Joshua L. MARTIN Governor of said state and his successors in office in the penal sum of two hundred dollars for payment of which well and truly to be made we bind ourselves and each and every of our heirs executors or administrators jointly and severally firmly by these present sealed with our seals and dated the twenty first day of December AD 1846. The condition of this obligation is such that if there be no lawful cause why Henry J. PICKARD and Ellen V. M. GOODWIN should not be joined together in the Holy union of matrimony then this obligation to be void otherwise to remain in full force and virtue. Henry J.
