Fosters is 9 miles south of the city of Tuscaloosa from I20 and I59 take the Fosters Exit, you will come to old US 11, go straight across, go past the post office and school and when you come to a right curve you will see Grants Creek Road, turn right and go up the hill and you will see the church and cemetery on your right. If you are coming from the west on US 82 you would want to take the toll road around to old US 11 and 43 go south about 6 miles.. This Church and the cemetery is still active and had there 175th Homecoming this past June 2003. This is a peaceful and pleasant Church and cemetery. In trying to transcribe these names from the stones, it was often very difficult due to the fact that a lot of the old stones were broken into sometimes three or four pieces. Sometimes they would fit together so that you could make out the names and dates, but often times there was enough missing that it couldn't be done. It was truly a wonderful experience and hopefully it will help many people in the future. Double Marker DUNCAN Mayme B. Dec. 14, 1904 Dec. 25, 1981 Joseph W. July 14, 1902 Jan. 22, 1969 Carlas A.
