This is the old home site of Hardy Foster one of the 5 brothers that foundered Foster Ala. in the early 1800 The old home burned to the ground some years ago. I was in this old cemetery a year ago and was on my hands and knees parting the brush but now it has been some what clean up. The old Stones are in remarkably good shape - only one broken stone. This appears to be all of the grave site here. This was a very peaceful cemetery as I sat there on a cloudy overcast day, I could hear the animals playing in the woods and children playing in the far background. 1 Foster James Collier Son of Hardy and Elizabeth W.Foster born in Abbeville District.
