Christian of the second part Witnesseth, that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of twelve dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents by the party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and do by these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever all the following prescribed lands known as the sixth of the SE 1/4 of Sec. 20 and the NE 1/4 of Sec. No. 29 in To. No. 18 of Range No. 9 West Containing eighty acres more or less together with all and singular the tenements and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and also all the estate right title interest claim or demand whatsoever of William Robertson the said party of the first part either in law or equity of in and to the above bargained premises and every part and parcel thereof To have and to hold to the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns to the whole and only proper use benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever. And the said party of the first part for his heirs executors administrators do hereby warrant and will forever defend the title of the above bargained premises to John P. Hickman of Tuscaloosa Alabama J. W. Robertson of the county & State aforesaid do hereby grant bargain sell and convey unto the said William P. Hickman and to his heirs and assigns forever the following list of land in Tuscaloosa Co and State of Alabama aforesaid to say NE qr of NW 1/4 Sect 13 Township 24 Range 3 East in Tuscaloosa Land district Ala And I the said William Robertson do hereby covenant with the said William P. Hickman that I am seized of an Estate in fee simple in said land that said land is free from any incumbrance and that I will warrant and defend the title of the said William P.
