Thurs Jun 3 1965 John M Englebert, 53 of North Charleston, SC will be held at 2pm Friday at Spigener-Brown. Masonic graveside services will be at Pate Cemetery in Buhl. John Milton Englebert died Tuesday at the home of his brother, Lee Englebert of Hollandale, Mississippi, while on vacation. He was the son of the late John and Mary Englebert of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Member of Masonic Lodge 232 in North Charleston. He was a Baptist and active in civic affairs. A Navy Veteran of World War II and civilian employee of the Navy Department. Survivors include his brother in Mississippi Lee Englebert, Claudie Englebert of St. Petersburg, Fla; four sisters, Mrs Velma Rushing of Jackson, Miss., Miss Beatrice Englebert of Tuscaloosa, Mrs. Clara Rogers of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs Elsie Maddox of Newton, Ala; several nieces and nephews.
