Know all men by these presents that I A B White of the county of Tuscaloosa and
state of Alabama, considering the uncertainty of this life, and being of sound
mind and memory do make, declare and publish this my last Will and Testament.
1st First I will and bequeath unto my beloved wife Arphay all my real and
personal estate including Lands and Stock of every description that I am now in
ownership of after paying all my just debts to have and to hold as her own
property to dispose of as she may desire and think to be for her interest.
Second I give devise and bequeath to my beloved wife Orphy, all of my Estate
Real Personal as mixed of which I shall die seized and [?] as to which I shall
be entitled at the time of Decease to have and to hold the same to her and her
Executors and Administrators and Assigns forever. Third I do nominate and
appoint my Brother James White to be the Executor of this my last Will and
Testament.
In testimony whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament contained on one
sheet of paper, and that sheet subscribed my name and set my seal, this the 6th
day of April in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and sixty one.

The foregoing will was signed sealed, declared and published by the said A B
White, as, and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who, at his
request, and in his presence and in the presence of each other have submitted
our names as Witnesses hereto the day date aforesaid.

The State of Alabama )  Court of Probate, July 8th 1861
Tuscaloosa County    )     Personally appeared in open court Wm C. White a
Subscribing Witness to a paper purporting to be the last will and testament of A
B White deceased, and propounded by James White the Executor therein named and
the said Wm C White being duly sworn deposed and says that he saw Testator sign
his name to said Will by making his mark thereto after his name was written,
that testator was of sound mind disposing memory, and that he [?] attended said
Will at the request of the Testator, and in the presence of the Testator, and in
the presence of the other subscribing Witnesses, and that the other Subscribing
Witnesses, to wit, Jackson Brown, G. P. Bailey, and Rufus Springer, all signed
their respective names thereto as witnesses in his presence, and in the presence
of the Testator, and at the request of Testator.
