Edwin Dayton Mitchell is the 6th man in from the left. He kept a log of where 
he worked and for this job it has: "Went to Squaw Shoals Ala on Lock 17 to 
work for Hardaway Contracting Company Oct. 5, 1914 Run Engine ! ! all the time 
I were there I got cutt off on account of the job being completed I got cutt 
off at 3:30 on Dec., 23, 1914. I got 40 cts per hr. this was a u s job. I 
halled the last concrete to lot 116 and 17 got to Fitzgerald, GA Dec. 24, 
1914." 


Additional Comments:
I can't find Squaw Shoals on any AL map.
