He was in a one horse wagon when the accident occurred and the mule he was driving as killed also. There was no eye witnesses of the accident and both man and mule were dead when found by neighbors. Surviving are the widow and one small daughter. Funeral held at Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church at Boldo with Rev. I.S. Woodley, J.D. Putman and B.G. Parker officating. Burial was in Boldo Cemetery. Pallbearers were Marvin Woodley, Neeley Woodley, Walter Barton, Howard Honeycutt, James Sherer and Tarp Banks. Flower Girls were Edna and Jocia Calloway, Carrie Woodley, Eula Richardson, Myrtle Barton, Sylvia Woodley and Edyth Cordes.
