The Mountain Eagle newspaper 11/21/1934

Martin O'Rear, 69, died at the family home in East Jasper Sunday at 2 p.m. 
Death was due to cirrihosis of the liver. Active pallbearers were nephews. 
Surviving are 4 sons, Bolivar, Joe Martin, Lige and Sam. Three daughters, 
Pauline, and Ella O'Rear and Mrs. Elton Webb.
