Mrs. Caine O'Rear died at the family home in East Jasper at 11;45 p.m. Sunday 
Sept. 6. Funeral services were held at the family residence at 3 p.m. Tuesday 
September 8 with Dr. L. E. Barton, pastor of the First Baptist Church 
officiating. She attended Old Oxford College and Alabama College where she 
finished in 1906 as president of her class. She spent several summers at the 
University of Tennessee specializing in music, voice and piano.
