This community is in the NW coner of Washington Co., 10 miles W. of Millry, 12 
miles N. of Buckatunna, MS.
1st settler was William Cupp, who applied for a homestead in 1856.
Other early settlers were:
Stewart, Becton, Other Cupp families, Wood, Green, Brown, Norton and Canazerith.
