Heanks & Martha E. Heanks of the first part & James T. Davis of the 2nd part all of Wilcox County Alabama witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of seven hundred dollars lawful money of the United States of America, to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, and the said parties of the second part, his heirs, executors and administrators forever released and discharged from the same, by these presents, have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, remised, released, enfeoffed, conveyed, and confirmed and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, alien, remise, release, enfeoff, covey, and confirm, unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever, all the following described lands to wit the south east fourth of north west fourth and south west fourth of north east fourth, Section nine (9) Township ten (10) Range eight (8) The north east fourth of the south east fourth & the south east fourth of south east fourth all of section nine (9) Township ten (10) & Range eight (8) containing one hundred and sixty acres more or less. Situate lying & being in the County of Wilcox, State of Alabama & subject to sale at Cahaba Ala. Together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments, rights, members, privileges, and appurtenances, unto the above mentioned and described premises belonging or in any wise appertaining. To have and to hold the above granted and described premises, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Elija G. Hanks & Martha E. Davis on the day and year, and for the uses and purposes therein mentioned.
