Wilcox County Deed Book A page 50 and 51

        State of Alabama} This Indenture made this the 
        Wilcox County   } 11th day of Novemberin the year
of Our Lord One thousand eight hundred and twenty six 
between Samuel Dennis of the State & County aforesaid of 
the first part and Nathaniel Lister also of the state and
County aforesaid of the second part witnesseth that the 
said part of the first part for and in consideration of 
the sum of two hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the 
said party of the second part the receipt whereof is justly 
acknowledged hath bargained and sold by these presents doth
bargain and sell and ....the said party of the seoncd part 
and to his heirs and assigns forever all that plantation 
tract or parcel of land lying in Pine (??) Bown Crik (??) 
in Wilcox County aforesaid and .... by being the first half 
of the North East quarter of section three in Township Ten 
Range Eleven containing eighty one acres and fifty six and 
one quarter together with all and singular ..... 
hereditaments and appertenances therein belonging or in any 
use appertaining and the division and revisions remainder 
and remainders, rents, expenses and profits thereof and also 
all the esate right title interest claim or demand whatsoever 
of him the said party of the first part either in law or 
Equity of in and to the above bargained premises and every 
part and parcel thereof to have and to hold to the said party 
of the second part, his heirs and assigns to the sold and only 
properties benefit and behood of the said party of the second 
part his heirs and assigns forever In Whitness whereof I have 
hereunto set my hand and seal this day and date above mentioned

        State of Alabama} Personally appeared before us Garland 
        Wilcox County   } Burt and Solomon Sparks Justices of 
the Peace in and for the County aforesaid the within named Samuel 
Dennis and Martha his wife who acknowledged that they severally 
signed sealed and delivered the forgoing deed on the day and year 
therein mentioned to the aforesaid Nathaniel Lister and the said 
Martha being by us previtely examined apart from her said husband 
acknowledged that the signed sealed and delivered the said deed 
freed without any ..... threats or compulsion of her said husband
given under our hands and seals this 11 November 1826
