We received a letter last week from Mr. W. D. Martin of Providence, R. I. who held the lucky number in the wagon contest of The Progressive Era, instructing us to sell the wagon and apply the proceeds to any charity that we deemed best in our county, and obeying the above instructions, we name Saturday the 23rd of April in front of the Court House at 12 o'clock, the time when it will be sold to the highest bidder for ash and proceeds applied as above stated after advising with others as to its best use for the accomplishment of its object. Mr. Martin's family once lived in Camden and notwithstanding his residence elsewhere remembers Old Wilcox and her people.
