Wilcox Progressive Era

Arthur Brooks who killed Verge Williams at a log rolling on Mr. J. T. 
McMurphy’s place, waived examination on Monday and was released on 
$200.00 bond until the grand jury meets. Evidence shows that he did it 
in self-defense.
