Gordon, a very prominent mill man and merchant of Canoe, was thrown from a horse and killed Tuesday morning about 7 o'clock. He was driving cows on horseback and from some cause the horse threw him in such a manner that his head struck upon a very hard place in the road, causing death from concussion of the brain. He lingered until 2:50 o'clock in the afternoon. He was about 8 years old and was a very bright little boy. Mr. Gordon is son of Mr. D. C. Gordon, formerly of Wilcox County, but now of Mobile and is a first cousin of the foreman of this office, T. A. Gordon. - His wife, Mrs. Frank Gordon, is a first cousin of Mr. F. H. Savage of our city. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/alfiles/ File size: 1.2 Kb
