(Special to the Mobile Register.) - The body of Mr. Will P. Oster, who was drowned in Munger Lake, near Sunflower, Ala., yesterday, was brought home on the midnight train last night prepared for burial, which will take place this evening at 6 o'clock. It was postponed to this late hour to allow some of his relatives to get here. Mr. Oster when drowned was in a little dugout skiff taking up line on which was a very large turtle. He was alone at the time and it is supposed that while standing in the skiff he lost his balance and fell overboard in about twenty feet from the bank. His body was recovered in about three quarters of an hour after the accident occurred. Three doctors used every effort to restore life but to no avail. His brother, Mr. T. H. Oster, of Epps, Ala., arrived this evening, and his sister, Mrs. L. Fredburger, of Columbiana, Ala., will reach here on the 5 o'clock train this evening. His death has cast a gloom over our little town. Additional Comments: Microfilm newspaper (Wilcox Progressive Era) located at the Alabama Department of Archives and History, Montgomery, Alabama.
