Mr. James A. Sharp and two little boys were killed by a bolt of lightening at Packer's landing in Black's Bend Monday. Mr. Sharp had been at work in the field and was accompanied by his little grandson, about six years old, and a son of Mr. Peek, about the same age. Just about noon a storm came up and Mr. Sharpe with the two boys, took shelter in a large hollow tree, and when found, about an hour afterwards, he was in a sitting position, with the boys one on each knee and all three dead.
