Wilcox Progressive Era, Thursday, September 26, 1907
Negro Shooting Scrape.
In a difficulty Monday night Willie May Etheridge shot and seriously wounded 
Charles Jackson. Both are negroes and the trouble is said to have originated 
over a game of craps. Ethridge was arrested and is in jail.
