Charles F. Brown of Pine Apple, Found Dead in a Hotel at Atmore. Mr. Charles F. Brown, a resident of Pine Apple, and well and favorably known in Wilcox county, committed suicide in his room at a hotel in Atmore at an early hour last Wednesday morning by cutting his throat. The deed was done with a small new pocket knife, which had evidently been bought for the purpose. The deceased was a traveling salesman for a clothing house, and has been in bad health for some time. No motive is known for the rash act, but it is attributed to illness which probably caused temporary insanity. He went to Atmore several days before, and was confined to his room most of the time until his death. He was about forty-nine or fifty years of age and leaves a wife and one child. He was a Royal Arch Mason, and a member of Chapter No. 40, at Camden. An inquest was held and a verdict rendered in accordance with the above. The body was shipped to Pine Apple, where it was taken charge of by the family, and interred there last Friday evening.
