His remains reached the city from Pine Apple last night on the Pensacola train and will be interred in this city today. - Selma Times of 17th. The remains of Mr. Alex Broadway were interred in the cemetery in this city yesterday morning. He requested his wife to have him buried at the base of the Confederate Monument in case that he died first, and in compliance with his wish he was buried in the Confederate lot, along-side of the other gallant heroes that have gone before him to "rest under the shadow of the trees." - Selma Times of 18th.
