G. C. Chapman who was killed in a storm at Birmingham, Ala., March 25th, 1901. Bro. Chapman was born April 20th, 1866, was made a Master Mason at Cokerville Lodge in 1888, and lived as a member for thirteen years. Whereas the Grand Master of the Universe saw fit to call Bro. Chapman from labor in the lodge below to rest in the Celestrial Lodge above. Be it resolved 1st. That we bow in humble submission to the will of Him who doeth all things well. Be it resolved 2nd. That in the death of Bro. G. C. Chapman Cokerville Lodge has lost one of its most earnest workers, the city of Birmingham one of her best physicians and a true and loyal citizen and his parents a devoted son. Be it resolved 3rd. That a copy of these Resolutions be spread on the minutes of our Lodge a copy be furnished the Journal, The Conecuh Record and Wilcox Progressive Era for publication, and a copy furnished the family of the deceased. { J.
