Wilcox Progressive Era, Thursday, April 9, 1903

Dora Mrs. J. S. Crum died March 30th after a lingering illness. She 
leaves a father, sisters, brothers, husband and four little children. 
She had been a member of the Methodist church since childhood.

Additional Information:

Dora Harriss Crum was born August 21, 1871 and died March 30, 1903
per her tombstone in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery,
Wilcox County, Alabama.  From census records, she was the wife of 
Joseph S. Crum and mother of Annie S. Crum, born December 1891, 
Richard J. Crum, born October, 1893, Kathleen Crum, born March 1896, 
and Minnie P. Crum, born 1901.  She also had another child who
died in infancy and is buried with her in the cemetery, though
unmarked.
