Carothers, of Oak Hill, died here Monday at 6 p. m. She leaves beside her husband, four children: Mrs. Russell Carothers and Miss Mattie Carothers and Edw. and Terry McWilliams, the two latter being prominent physicians, and children by a former marriage. The deceased was a very estimable woman. She was related to the most prominent families of Wilcox and leaves a large circle of relatives and warm personal friends who mourn her death. She had been an invalid for a long time but bore her sufferings with christian fortitude and patience.
