Wilcox Progressive Era, Thursday, February 15, 1906
Died in Monroeville.
  Mr. D. W. Davis, a brother of J. B. and F. P. Davis of Mobile on 
Thursday, Feb'y 8. He moved to Monroe County about 1881, and for many 
years lived near Bell's Landing afterwards he moved his family to 
Monroeville where he died. Mr. Davis leaves a wife who was Miss Mary 
Deering, three daughters and one son.
