E. DeVan Sr., who died at his home at Lamison, aged about Sixty years. Mr. DeVan is survived by his widow, and several sons and daughters, all respected people, in the communities where they reside. Mr. DeVan was a useful citizen, and was public spirited, and thoughtful of others well doing. He was a Methodist, and a Freemason, and his life gave evidence, of his devotion to the church and its twin sister, and of him may truly be said, A Godly good man is at rest. Our sympathies are extended to the bereaved widow and relatives of the deceased.
