Wilcox Progressive Era, Thursday, November 1, 1906
Mr. Sam Jones died of heart failure, on the train, returning from a successful 
revival held at Oklahoma. En route home, to a family reunion in his home in 
Georgia. Mr. Jones has done much good in the world, and it can be truly said of 
him "A good man has gone to his reward."
