Kilpatrick. The sad tidings of the death of Mrs. Pearl Kilpatrick, at Albuquerque, New Mexico, was received here Tuesday. Only a few months ago, she became the happy bride of Mr. Rufus Hall Kilpatrick, to whom she was married in September last, and for them life appeared to hold the full measure of happiness, but in a few weeks the germs of the fatal malady, tuberculosis, in an acute form developed and despite all that medical skill, loving friends and the heroic devotion of her husband, she grew rapidly worse and died Sunday night at Alburquerque, New Mexico, where she had been taken in the hope that the change in climate would be of benefit. Mrs. Kilpatrick was the daughter of Rev. P. G. Woodruff, of Florida. She was in every way a most estimable young woman, and loved by all who knew her. A telegram from Mr. Kilpatrick announces that the remains will arrive here Friday evening and the funeral services will be held Saturday.
