E. Kimbrough. Another one of our county's mothers in Israel, has been called to her reward. Last Thursday, Mrs. Margaret Ellen Kimbrough died at her home at Lower Peach Tree, and Saturday her remains were interred in Canton cemetery. The deceased was born at Canton Bend in 1838, and was a sister of the late Col. Joe Robins. At her death, she was 70 years old. In early life, she married the late Charlie Savage, and about 1862, she married the late John J. Kimbrough. Her surviving children are Dr. John H. Kimbrough, of Fort Deposit, Sidney Kimbrough, of Mexico, G. P. Kimbrough, of Gadsden, and Mrs. W. L. Bruce of Catherine, also several grand children. Mrs. Kimbrough was a consistent member of Canton Bend Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was highly educated, and for several years, was a contributor to a number of leading magazines. Her home life was ideal, and gave every evidence of her trust in Him, in whom her faith remained to the end. A large number of sorrowing relatives and friends attended her funeral, and to the family our condolences are extended.
