This (Sunday) morning when the King of Day was putting forth its welcome rays of light from the Eastern horizon to gladden the hearts of all humanity, the sad intelligence was sent fourth from his residence that Dr. Thomas Lee was dying. The news spread rapidly of the fast ebbing of the life of one who had been a sufferer for months from Bright's and the end was approaching when his soul would take its flight to its Creator. Dr. Lee is a man greatly esteemed for his high sense of honor and nobility of character, and his death will bring sadness to the hearts of his many comrades and friends throughout the State. Later Dr. Lee breathed his last at this (Monday) a. m., and will be interred this 3 p. m., in the Carlowville Cemetery.
