The Wilcox County Democratic Executive Committee has heard with profound sorrow of the death of the Honorable John Moore, the Judge of the Fourth Judicial Circuit of Alabama. For the fifth time, our people had recently voted for his nomination for Judge of our Circuit Court. Judge Moore was a notable exemplar of the Southern Jurist, patriot and gentleman. He was always patient on the bench, and his just rulings had endeared him to our people, who had learned to look upon him, as the embodiment of Justice, Truth and Fair Judgment for all classes and conditions. - He was an honest, upright Judge.
