Wilcox Progressive Era, Thursday, February 12, 1903

Mrs. Mendenhall from Bethel Beat, a poor white woman, who has for some 
time been an inmate of the county poor house died on the 11th of 
February, and was buried in the Camden Cemetery by Supt. of the poor 
house. Mr. H. H. Hays.
