The sad intelligence reached Camden last Monday in a telegram to Mrs. E. N. Jones from San Antonio, Texas, that Miss Blanche McDaniel had died. The young lady had just returned to her home with her mother and had visited Camden and Rock West. Her mother is remembered as Miss Leila Ervin, daughter of Mrs. Sarah Ervin, and sister of Mr. Sain J. Ervin of Rock West, and who married Dr. A. S. McDaniel of San Antonio. Miss Blanche has just entered lovely young ladyhood and by her many graces and charms of manner, person and mind, made enduring friends, of all whom she met. She was bright, intelligent, mirthful, and cultured, and it is sad, sad indeed, that such a lovely flower, should under God's providence, have been so early transplanted to the celestial home. Our grief is mingled with her bereaved parents, aged grand mother, and many relatives, and to them we would say, "Thy will, Oh Lord be done."
