Pine Bluff, Feb 18 - Dr. B. W. Mason, one of the best known citizens of Arkansas, a resident of Jefferson Spring and a member of the Jefferson country Democratic central committee, died suddenly at his home Tuesday night. His death resulted from heart trouble. Dr. Mason was 57 years of age, and has always taken a prominent part in Jefferson county politics. At the time of his death he was physician for the Bluff City Lumber Company of Kearney and this city. He leaves a wife and five children, one of them being Mrs. Robert G. Johnson of this city. The remains will be interred in Bellwood cemetery here tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock. - Little Rock Gazette. Dr. Mason was the son of Mr. Berry Mason formerly of this county and brother of John Longmire of Monroe County.
