God wanted another angel on Friday p. m., Nov. 25th, 1904, at 5 o'clock. The Angel of death visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Maxwell and bore the sweet spirit of little Inez to her home beyond the skies. She was 3 years and 7 months old. She was sick with a cold and was taken seriously Thursday, a. m., and passed away Friday p. m. She was a patient sufferer, perfectly resigned to death. Her remains were laid to rest in the Indian Spring Cemetery near this place Sunday. Her father was away and didn't get home until Saturday but her mother and many other relatives and friends watched by her bedside until death. All was done that the physicians and loving hands could do, but God thought best to take her now. Dear parents, you may think it hard to give up your little darling, but it will only be a short time and we will all meet her to part no more, for she has only gone from this sinful world to a bright, happy home to await our coming. How sad it is to give up this sweet innocent little darling. Only a short while ago a sweet little darling with golden hair and rosy cheeks, but now she sleeps in the silent grave, lost from earth forever but gained in heaven. We had a little treasure in our home, she was our joy and pride, we loved her, ah! perhaps too well, for soon she slept and died. MAGGIE NETTLES McWilliams, Ala.
