Wilcox Progressive Era, Thursday, September 19, 1907
We learn with much regret that little Agnes McDuffie the baby daughter of Mrs. 
Jno McDuffie of River Ridge, died on Monday last at Point Clear where they have 
been summering.


Wilcox Progressive Era, Thursday, September 26, 1907
Little Laura Agnes, the eight year old daughter of Mrs. John McDuffie and 
youngest sister of Misses Mary and Bessie McDuffie, was buried in the family 
burying ground near River Ridge, Monroe County, on Thursday morning, Sept. 
19th. She died after an illness of only three days at Point Clear where the 
family were spending the summer. Rev. C. W. McCulley of this place conducting 
the burial service.
