HALL OF DALE LODGE, NO. 25 } CAMDEN, ALA., March 20, 1908 } Whereas our Lodge since its last communication, has been bereft of one of our most useful and brightest members, in the death of Brother Neill McArthur, a past Master of Dale Lodge, No. 25, who died near Camden, Feb. 23, 1908, aged 66 years. And whereas, Brother McArthur, was a man who endeared himself to the Lodge, by his profound study and knowledge of Free Masonry, whose genial nature, innocent wit, and personal amiability, whose kindness to the poor, the sick, needy and suffering, and whose upright life, and unquestioned integrity, caused us to recognize in him, a most worthy examplar; into whose life, shone the seeing eye, and who worked with the square, and whose walk was level and plumb; who as High Priest of the chapter, lived such Masonic life, that in the arch of his life, was placed the keystone, and as Thrice Illustrious Master of the Council, the Spekinah of the Devine Presence was with him; and whereas, as a Lodge, we realize that it is difficult to fill his place, in the ordinary walks of life, and in our circle. Therefore, be it resolved, that in the death of Brother McArthur, we mourn his demise, and commend his spirit, to a Merciful God who gave it. Resolved, that our condolences are tendered to his bereaved relatives, and we would have them remember, that what is their loss is his gain. Resolved, that a blank page in our book of minutes be suitably inscribed, and these resolutions be handed the county papers for publication. S. D. BLOCH, R. E. McWILLIAMS, E. N. JONES, Committee.
