Wilcox Progressive Era, Thursday, September 20, 1906
Sad death in Blacks Bluff beat, a child of Mr. Jim Peak was drowned in a tub of 
water, age about 12 months, was playing around the tub and fell in. Several 
years ago Mr. Peak had a child burned to death. We extend to him and family our 
sympathy in this sad affliction that has befallen him.
