Thomas H. Patterson, a veteran of Withers Battery, and a former resident of Camden, died at the Mountain Creek Confederate Soldiers Home, on the 8th inst. His remains reached Camden Saturday night and he was buried here Sunday morning, Rev. R. L. Robinson conducting the funeral service. Mr. Patterson was in his seventy-fourth year at the time of his death. He was born near Philadelphia and moved to Alabama in his early manhood, and resided near Camden all his after life.
